The first step is to arrange an initial session where we can meet each other and discuss what you would like to achieve from counselling. It will also give you an idea of how I work and is an opportunity for you to ask me questions.
If you decide that counselling is for you and we both feel that we can work together, then usually, sessions are weekly and last for one hour.
I offer short-term counselling, which can be as few as six or 12 sessions, or open-ended counselling which will continue until you feel ready to stop.
We can agree when we first meet how many sessions would be appropriate.
Counselling via SKYPE is also available.
My fee is £50 per session.
Cancelling a session
There may be occasions when you may need to cancel and I will try to accommodate you where possible. However, I do ask for at least 7 days notice (except in exceptional circumstances), or you will be charged for the missed session.
